Why are we moving away from TAM?
PeopleSoft’s Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM) did not meet the needs of applicants and search committees upon implementation. In order to modify the tool to fulfill unmet needs, significant investment and time would have been required that would have resulted in a product that would have been prohibitively challenging to upgrade in the years ahead. With this in mind, the University moved to develop a new tool that would meet the needs of applicants, search committees, and other stakeholders involved that would also require less customization, and in turn be more cost-effective.
Who will have access to the new tool?
Permissions to the new tool will be similar to those established with the roll-out of TAM and the Recruitment and Onboarding Center (ROC). Search committee members, hiring managers, and other key individuals will have view-access to the searches they are associated with when the requisition is submitted.
